Our Friends in India
We support five pastors in India through the short-term mission ministry 'Together For God' and have been excited to hear all that is happening.
India has over one billion people, that is twice the population of North America and Europe put together. There is still poverty in in India, but the government are working with different group to eradicate it.

Christianity continues to grow rapidly in India with more and more people finding that the churches are willing to serve the community and bring much needed support and help to those who are in need.
India has always had a Christian community from the time of Thomas (doubting Thomas) the Lords disciple who planted churches there in the first century.
The picture to the left is taken at a gospel meeting in Wallajah where hundreds of people gave their lives to Jesus.
There are many social needs in India and Together For God works at helping local churches to restore the dignity of the individual.
We work with Local church ministers who are well informed about the needs locally and who are better able to focus the distribution of any aid.
We also work with Aid-2-India which is run by Fredrick Anthuraj who graduated from Mattersey Bible College in the UK.
